iPhone WiiMote OpenGL-ES Demo

The video first shows the iPhone’s AirPlane mode activated before starting an OpenGL-ES Demo. In the demo, the orientation of the virtual WiiMote is controlled by a physical WiiMote over a Bluetooth connection. For this demo, the the portable Bluetooth Stack from the BTstack project (http://code.google.com/p/btstack) was used.

The OpenGL-ES code was based on the excellent tutorial by Simon Maurice (http://web.me.com/smaurice/AppleCoder/i Phone_OpenGL/Entries/2009/4/1_OpenGL_ES_ 06_-_Objects_in_3D.html). Thanks, this is my first OpenGL program.

voice_logoWe’ve seen Apple ban applications from the App Store for all sorts of ridiculous reasons. This time, it’s different; all Google Voice related apps were banned from the app store, and this time Apple – or, more likely, AT&T – has a very good reason to ban them: it’s scared of them.

The Center for Biomedical Continuing Education (CBCE) recently launched a continuing medical education (CME) oncology application for the iPhone that lets a physician quickly access clinical news, treatment updates, and conference highlights.

The free application pulls in accredited content from the CBCE and allows a medical provider to take quizzes and earn CME credits on the go.

The CBBE app supports more than just audio - it can handle text, slides, and video as well. (via medgadget)

Pena que somente para os médicos americanos !
